Seleno Health Activated Peruvian Maca - 500 grams

Seleno Health Activated Peruvian organic yellow maca is personally sourced by us from our farm in the mountains of Junin, Peru.
 
It is socially responsible with $1 per bag donated directly to our charity fund to support the local community of San Jose de Quero.
 
It is organically certified and ethically sourced direct farm to table. All the steps we take are to create a sustainable method of trade that benefits all involved.
 
Once harvested our maca is naturally dried for 3 months at altitude, then activated (pressure heated) to remove the starch and bacteria, making it ready to eat. 
 
The different colors of maca (red maca, black maca, and yellow maca) each have different properties that need to be used in the right ratios depending on the condition being treated. Yellow maca root is the most abundant form of maca (65%), it is milder than the other colors and is traditionally used to build resilience and bring balance to master glands. Yellow maca powder benefits those with hormonal imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal fatigue, stress, burnout, and general health and well-being.
